희곡과 연극에 대한 기초 지식을 높이기 위하여 희곡의 본질이나 구조, 연극의 기원이나 경향 등을 우선 살펴본다. 한국 희곡 문학의 흐름을 개관하여 대표적인 희곡작품을 선정하고 연구함으로써 희곡 작품에 대한 분석력을 기른다. 나아가서는 이러한 지식을 바탕으로 교육현장에서 희곡을 효과적으로 지도할 수 있는 방안을 모색한다.
교과목해설(영문)
To broaden basic knowledge about play and drama, it would be examined essence or structure of play, origin or tendency of drama etc above all. It would be developed analytical skills about plays by selecting and researching representative plays through overview of the flow of Korean play literature. Furthermore, on the basis of this knowledge, it would be searched the method to instruct plays effectively in educational field.
